== Fellowship project ==
'''Current status:''' 33% funded

I've recently begun an effort to enable myself to work on the Mercurial project full-time over the next year. I'm planning to focus on enabling more developers with patch review and design assistance (I'm going to have official office hours), to get more focus on quality issues (bugs, docs), and make progress on some of the big items in our feature wishlist (parent deltas, lightweight copies, better wire protocol, etc.).

If your company is a serious user of Mercurial or sells Mercurial-based products or services, please consider accelerating Mercurial's development by sponsoring me. I'll add your company to a sponsor page on the Mercurial website and give you an opportunity to give input on development areas that are important to you. I'm looking for about 10-15 companies to donate between $2k and $20k each. Donations will be handled and administered by our parent non-profit, the [[http://conservancy.softwarefreedom.org/|Software Freedom Conservancy]]. Contact me at mpm at selenic.com for more details.

If you're interested in making individual donations to this project or Mercurial in general, visit our [[http://www.selenic.com/mercurial/donations.html|donation page]]!
