I like it, but it's a bit small. And the "mercurial" font is crummy.
New logos should:
- be at least 2000 pixels wide for printing purposes
- look good at 100-200px width
- be adaptable to an icon
- include separate layers where appropriate (drop shadows, etc.)
- document fonts used (preferably freely available)
- look good on a t-shirt
- be available under the GPL, of course
