KoreanTutorialFirstChange에서는, {{{my-hello-new-output}}} [[Repository|저장소]]에 [[ChangeSet|변경집합]]을 작성하였습니다. 이번에는 그 변경을 다른 곳에까지 펼쳐보려 합니다.

[[Mercurial]]의 좋은 습관을 따라, 먼저 원 [[Repository|저장소]]를 [[Clone|복제]]해 봅시다.

각 [[Repository|저장소]]의 [[Tip]]이 무엇인가를 아는 데에 {{{tip}}} 명령을 쓸 수 있습니다. ([[Tip]]은 가장 새로운 [[ChangeSet|변경집합]]이라는 것을 상기해주세요.) [[Mercurial]]이 [[Tip]]의 완전한 설명을 출력하지 않게 하기 위해, {{{-q}}} (“조용하게”) 설정을 넘깁니다.

다른 [[Mercurial]] 명령과는 달리, {{{pull}}}는 말이 많습니다. 이 예에서는, [[Pull]]은 성공했습니다.

출력의 마지막 줄은 중요합니다. 기본은, [[Mercurial]]은 [[Pull]]을 수행한 다음 [[WorkingDirectory|작업디렉토리]]를 갱신하지 않습니다. 이것은 예를 들어 [[Repository|저장소]]가 새로운 [[ChangeSet|변경집합]]을 포함하고 있다고 해도, [[WorkingDirectory|작업디렉토리]]의 {{{hello.c}}} 파일은 아직 이전의 [[Pull]]의 내용이라는 뜻입니다.

[[Mercurial]]의 조언에 따라, 이 파일(과 [[Pull]]의 사이에 변경된 다른 파일)을 [[Update|변경]]하는 것이 가능합니다.
